Applications open: June 2022 CCCS NCE

The Canadian College of Health Information Management is now accepting applications for the June 2022 Certified Classification and Coding Specialist (CCCS) national certification examination (NCE).

The CCCS designation is designed for Certified in Health Information Management (CHIM) professionals who have any of the following:

• 5+ years of classification and coding experience in acute inpatient settings, or
• Graduated from a College-approved coding specialist program

This professional designation, along with experience, can be a catalyst to progress your career into analyst and leadership positions.

To register for the CCCS NCE, candidates must submit an application through their CHIMA account and provide payment. Payment must be received on or before the application deadline. 

Candidates may prepare for the examination through the CCCS NCE Primer (free for CHIMA members).
