MembersFor professional members of the College

Professional members are valued by health care organizations across the country for their ability to ensure high-quality data, protect privacy, enhance quality of care, and avoid silos across organizations.

Professional members are certified by the Canadian College of Health Information Management and hold one or more professional designations. They distinguish themselves in the health information industry with the use of these designations.

All professional members are listed on the College’s registry of professionals and are also members of CHIMA, Canada’s health information management association.

Professional membership includes voting rights at the joint annual general meeting for both the College and CHIMA.
