Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for the release of information micro-credential examination, candidates must:

• have graduated from an Health Information Management diploma and degree program accredited by the College with a signed attestation; or
• have graduated from an Health Information Certified Associate program accredited by the College with a signed attestation.

The ROI national micro-credential examination date(s) are as follows:

Request to defer or withdraw

Deferral: A candidate may defer their application to a future sitting of the NME. The applicant is required to notify the exam team through a deferral request at least 10 business days before exam sitting. Please note that an application can only be deferred a total of three times.

Withdrawal: The request to withdraw from an examination must be received in writing by the deadlines stated below. A refund of 100% of the examination fee will be provided. No refund will be provided past these deadlines.
