Now accepting applications for the September 2023 CCDIS NCE
The Canadian College of Health Information Management is now accepting applications for the September 2023 Certified Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist (CCDIS) national certification examination (NCE).
Clinical documentation improvement (CDI) specialists impact the accuracy of medical documentation and coding in the health care system. The CCDIS NCE covers the following practice areas:
- Anatomy and physiology, clinical pathology, and pharmacology
- Clinical coding skills
- Documentation improvement
- Leadership, communications, and education skills
- CDI program metrics and analysis
