Announcing the accreditation of Western Community College’s Medical Office Assistant program

The Canadian College of Health Information Management (College) would like to announce the successful accreditation of Western Community College’s Medical Office Assistant program.

The Medical Office Assistant program at Western Community College is a 1-year program that will provide students with the knowledge and training to be successful in a medical office.

Students will learn how to communicate accurately with medical professionals and patients. They will learn the skills to perform office duties at a medical office or clinic, such as medical billing, medical transcription, and medical office procedures.
