The Canadian College of Health Information Management is now accepting applications for the September 2022 Certified Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist (CCDIS) national certification examination (NCE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Clinical documentation improvement (CDI) specialists impact the accuracy of medical documentation and coding in the health care system. The CCDIS NCE covers the following practice areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To be eligible to apply for the CCDIS NCE, candidates must have graduated from a College-accredited CDI program<\/a> or have completed a comparable College-approved CDI onsite training program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, candidates must\u202fapply through their CHIMA account\u202fand provide payment.
